An important measurement to be made in MINOS is the shape of the
nu_mu survival probability curve as a function of energy.
Presently the SuperK results indicate that something is happening
to multi-GeV neutrinos that travel certain path lengths that can still be
interpreted as either oscillations, neutrino decay, multi-dimensions,
or something else. These different neutrino disappearance scenarios
will have different survival probability curves. The purpose of this
note is an attempt to describe a beam running game plan that will give
us optimal errors over a wide range of energies in a minimum of time.
