Steel Mass and Meltcode Distribution in the MINOS Far Detector

This note describes new database tables for the MINOS far detector steel
and the placement of steel slabs in the detector. The current software
geometry of the far detector uses nominal values for the mass and thickness of
the steel planes. We show the true distribution of steel mass, as measured slab-by-
slab at Soudan, and find a mass asymmetry in SM1. We also show the distribution
of steel heats (meltcodes), which is generally a combination of heats for each plane.
